All gearboxes provided by us are stripped, cleaned, re-assembled using manufactures standard parts with clutches, steels, pistons, seals, O rings and filters being sourced from quality parts suppliers from the UK so you don’t get the problems the cheap Chinese imitations come with and then are resealed, ready to be fitted. As stated we do provide a very, very competitive fitting service with a morning drive in-afternoon drive out service which in nearly every case can be done should you need it. We also do repairs to your own gearbox should you wish to as a cheaper alternative and if its a viable option (this is based on the condition of your own gearbox) the value body and torque converter will be used from your own gearbox. We sell and distribute to all of the UK/channel islands along with many parts of Europe so if you need something sending or for export please get in touch and we would be happy to help with the transporting of items. We are finding on a regular basis that for one reason or another people have been told to source a new gearbox when the advice given is not founded. This is normally because the garage or persons concerned are not equipped to check or diagnose the issues you are having so the easiest option is to say? To just start changing parts without knowing the root cause is guess work and can lead to overspending when this could have been avoided. We can provide tests and reports on all components as this is the only way to be sure of where the faults are coming from. It is extremely common for automatic gearboxes to be changed and the issues appear to have been resolved for short periods, only for the issues re-appear and more work needing to be carried out. This is due to not diagnosing the true issue in the first place. We offer repair services as well as reconditioned units and in a lot of cases a repair is the cheapest option. Also parts such as torque converters, valve bodies and mechatronic units can be at fault and if these parts are not thoroughly checked you can end up damaging new parts, be back to square one and out of pocket. Installation procedures are key and should be followed properly with the manufacturers specifications. This can be the difference between hassle free driving or no drive at all as prevention is better than cure. We DO NOT supply or install second hand units and if you wish to do this then we are a simply not the company for you.
