For sale complete engine and gearbox currently fitted to a 2008 VW Phaeton 4.2 V8 LWB but believed to also have been used in various other VAG models. Car is showing 75000 miles so we are assuming thats the mileage of the engine (but that is not a guarantee). Car had been sat for a while before we bought it with the sole intention of taking off the front brake assembly to fit onto another car. Took an hour to have it running and even on old fuel it sounded good. We have video of it running. It requires a new inlet manifold as there are a couple of holes in it. Alternatively for an agreed price the remainder of the car can go as one so you get the full drivetrain etc. Asking price is for the engine and gearbox only anything else you want will be by separate negotiation.
